About Tony
Tony Ronalds is the founder and lead singer of Kilt. After a career fronting the band, he is reigniting his music career as a solo performer, with a renewed focus on the traditional and contemporary music of Ireland, Scotland and the wider Celtic world.
Having played the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and headlined the Dawson City Music Festival, Grandfather Mountain Highland Games, Fergus Highland Games, Windsor Celtic Festival, Miramichi Irish Festival and Toronto's legendary Horseshoe Tavern, Tony is a professional, easy-to-work-with solo act, well suited to festival stages, concerts and lively gatherings.
Audiences can expect two to three singalong moments as Tony teaches the crowd to join in on a couple of sea shanties, a highlight of any performance. Between songs, his entertaining stories keep the room locked in and calling out for more.
